What: Macnas "Cockroach and the Inventor Street" Theatre

When: Saturday, September 21 - 2.30pm & 4.30pm
Where: Portumna Square & St Brendan's St., Portumna, Co. Galway

Macnus: A giant Cockroach Inventor comes to town bringing with him molecular muddles and bellowing sounds. Accompanied by a genius assistant, wild happenings occur that range from the caustic to the hilarious. Buffoonery and mayhem are played out as the assistant attempts to tame the cockroach and his unlikely invention. Unpredictability fills the air along with smoke, silly contraptions, bangs, dustbins lids and a genius apparatus. The Cockroach, his assistant, and their unlikely invention will tickle, tease and literally capture the audience.

Shorelines Arts Festival, now in its sixth year, kicks off on Thursday, September 19, and runs until Sunday, September 22.
